Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your PromoForge subscription at any time from your Billing dashboard. When you cancel:
- Your access continues until the end of the current billing period
- No further charges will be made after cancellation
- Your content and data remain available until the billing period ends
- After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free tier (limited functionality)
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. There is no penalty for cancelling.
2. Refund Policy
PromoForge subscriptions are billed monthly. All sales are final — refunds are not provided for partial or unused billing periods. You have full access to the Free tier before upgrading, so you can evaluate the platform before committing to a paid plan.
Exceptions
Refunds may be issued at our discretion in the following circumstances:
- Billing error: If you were charged incorrectly (e.g., double-charged, charged after cancellation), we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charge.
- Extended outage: If PromoForge experiences significant downtime (more than 48 consecutive hours) during your billing period, you may request a pro-rata credit for the affected period.
No Refunds
- Partial or unused billing periods
- Unused generation credits or features
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality (AI output varies and is provided "as is")
- Failure to cancel before a renewal date
- Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms of Service
3. Plan Changes
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time:
- Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged the pro-rata difference for the remainder of the current billing period.
- Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. You retain access to your current plan's features until then.
4. Free Trial
New accounts start on the Free tier with limited features. No credit card is required for the Free tier. Upgrading to a paid plan requires payment details, and the first charge occurs immediately.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request an eligible refund:
- Email support@promoforge.com.au with the subject "Refund Request"
- Include your account email address and reason for the refund
- We will respond within 3 business days
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
6. Account Closure & Data Deletion
If you wish to close your account entirely (beyond just cancelling your subscription):
- Contact support@promoforge.com.au or use the data deletion option in your Account settings
- All personal data will be deleted within 30 days
- Billing records are retained as required by Australian tax law
- Connected social media platform authorisations are revoked
Before closing your account, we recommend downloading your data.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund or remedy under the ACL, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
